Apple face masks — healing recipes for all skin types

Homemade apple masks are effective at any age for all skin types. Thanks to the properties of this fruit, such masks and compresses make the skin more elastic, relieve irritation, help smooth wrinkles and improve the complexion.

To prepare the mask, the apple must be thoroughly washed. If you took an apple not from your garden and are not sure of its environmental friendliness, it is better not to use the peel.

Apple masks for dry skin

You can moisturize and nourish dry skin with one of the following masks made from natural ingredients.

Mask “Apple in sour cream”
You will need: 1 apple, 1 egg yolk, 1 tbsp sour cream, 1 tbsp vegetable oil.

Instructions: Finely grate the apple, add the yolk, sour cream and butter, mix thoroughly. Apply an even layer on the face, soak for 20 minutes. Rinse off the mask with warm and then cold water.

Mask “Juice mixture”
You will need: 1 tablespoon of apple, tomato, carrot, plum, cabbage and raspberry juice.

Instructions: Mix all the juices, wet a few cotton pads in the mixture and put them on your face. Soak the mask for 25 minutes, periodically moistening the cotton wool with a mixture. Then wipe your face with a dry cloth or cotton pad.

Any mask should be applied to cleansed skin in an even dense layer, making circular massaging movements from the nose towards the chin and temples.

Honey-cream mask
You will need: 1 tablespoon of applesauce, 1 tablespoon of butter, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1 egg yolk.

Instructions: Mix the puree with butter, whisk the honey with the yolk, mix all the ingredients. Apply the mask on your face, hold it for 20–30 minutes, then wipe your face with a paper napkin.
